I have spent several days on the train, which is quite boring and quiet. That might be my dream, without any thought or aim or effort, just be relaxed or idling, and let sense gravitate my soul..... also I have met some ppl there, talking, information collecting, while just passer-by.
Nearly 8 days in HK itself. I bet I have known 40% of it, though with this limit time. It's modern as outside chats, and quite like SH, the normal living standard is a bit higher, while maybe it should be seperated to say: the vegetable and fruit are more expensive like $38/500g for vegetable, and 3pcs orange for $10. the living material is cheaper in supermarket, and always have some discount. Water is quite the same as SH, while juice is twice expensive. for meat and seafood, it's round 1.5 times expensive. For brand and gold things, it's obvious cheaper than SH, as they said outside.
Ppl in Ctrip has already written many articles for HK, while I only wanna to give some tips for it:
大嶼山:must obey the direction in ctrip, i myself once trun the wrong direction, and make go down mountain to go up. it sucks..... the green scene there is worth looking, the sounds of the streamlet, the tolling of the bell, the crow of the birds ( it really sounds like man, and frighten me a bit...)
南丫島:it has a beautiful beach, without too many ppl, and cool wind.there is also typical 甜品 called 山水豆腐花. too sweet for me la.
sea park: the funny items are quite like 嘉年華. soso la, but on the peak, there is a cool Mcdanald, with cool honey drink.the performance of birds and dolphin is quite good, but only last 25-30 minutes. the seafood there is also delicious, for each person around $200, but worth anyway.
黃大仙: i have draw lot there, good result.... and what's more, the inside of the temple is frobidden for visitor, while available for monks and members....
中國旅行社:it's set up everywhere, and it itself holds quite many items for travellers to attend, like fengshui lecture, fisher drive around the Victoria port and etc.
Museum: hk has quite many museums with good equipment for ppl to enjoy. if u do have time, should have a look at them.the details you can also get thru the china travelling group.
shopping: the standard for 尖沙嘴,中環 are quite expensive, while for 銅鑼灣 and 灣仔,the standard is cheaper. the cheapest area is in 旺角 and 油麻地 ( take care that there might be fake items.
Macau: very delicious desert there, i don't mean the margrate's 蛋撻. it has 芒果豆腐花,蘿卜糕,水果,and etc. for the gambling area, it's too big and difficult for me to walk all way around. also for the 老虎機,it's more difficult than PS2....that's why i lose all the way.媽祖廟 is very small, it's said that they have celebration in May.( i don't know the exact date.) the churches in macau is Portugal style. and the jesus there is also a bit different.
hk park: has many animals also free for visitors.... also for their sport square, well-equipped.
if you have any question, please let me know freely.
